Changes in scope of calculation and trends in GHG emissions
- In fiscal year 2019, we started calculating Scope 1 and 2 GHG emissions in our stationery business field (three plants of PLUS CORPORATION, and five plants of overseas consolidated companies).
- In fiscal year 2020, we expanded our calculation scope to add Scope 3 calculation and include our furniture business field (Maebashi Plant).
- In fiscal year 2023, the current reportable organizations expanded to include PLUS CORPORATION offices and JOINTEX business fields in the calculation scope.
- The scope of calculation of the stationery business field and furniture business field
Until FY2022: stationery business field (plants only) and furniture business field (plants only)
In FY2023: Only PLUS CORPORATION in both stationery business field and furniture business field
Some the plants of consolidated companies have been newly added to the scope of calculation

PLUS group companies strive to decrease the amount of emissions into the environment and check substances designated under the PRTR (Pollutant Release and Transfer Register) Law with annual emission or transfer of more than 1kg.
- ※
Referred to “Manual for PRTR Release Estimation Methods Version 5.0” by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry and the Ministry of the Environment for calculation.
- ※
The amount of consumption shows the amount of the substances that are changed to another substance due to reaction, or removed from the plant in, or attached to, products.
- ※1
Individual aggregation load: Aggregation of individual substance is not possible because it is changed to another substance due to reaction or mixed with another substance.
